NAVISP-CHARLI

CHARLI (Challenging Areas Localization Services) project is part of the NAVISP (Navigation Innovation and Support Program) launched by ESA.
The project is supported by the nav4you startup and the Geoloc laboratory.

CHARLI project aims to offer a new localization service to make rescue workers safer during an intervention. Today, no commercialized solution meets the requirements of precise and reliable tracking of emergency agents: agents still die due to a lack of positioning solution.
CHARLI solution is based on a foot-mounted localization device and innovative algorithms that allow the position. Real-time data is used by the system to improve safety and to make initiatives more effective both inside and outside.
